Storyville Blues

Here is an arrangement based on Turk Murphy's Storyville Blues. 

The instrumentation is as follows: 

• Clarinet
• 1st Trumpet
• 2nd Trumpet
• Trombone
• Piano
• Banjo/Guitar (one part)
• Bass/Tuba (one part)
• Drums
• Score

This chart features wonderful ensemble parts which are completely written out except the clarinet part which is mostly just a chord sketch. The trombone solos are written out - the piano solo has been replaced with a clarinet solo (ad lib with chords and melody provided). 

This chart’s level of difficulty is rated: Easy. This rating means the tempo, key, and instrumental range is manageable for most musicians. It is great for beginners to trad jazz.
